xR Stories - OMEN Challenge esports
HP OMEN Challenge 2019, run by creative media agency AKQA, was realised in collaboration with Scott Millar of LongerDays.io and Pixel Artworks. Together they designed and developed a bespoke pipeline toolset using disguise, Notch, TouchDesigner and CS:GO, to create a never-before-seen esports broadcast which combined Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality technologies, which was then streamed live on Twitch and other platforms.
Scott Millar talks through how the technical aspects of how the project was pitched, developed and implemented on site.
