James Simpson talks about how technology can bring together creative teams to design and engage with each other in the digital world. He will share examples of his R&D work where he is bringing the roles of pre-visualisaiton and content creation together through the use of real-time engines with virtual, augmented and mixed reality technologies.
About James: James worked for 10 years as the Head of Visualisation at the Royal Opera House and from there pioneered the use of XR and immersive technology for theatre design visualisation which has won awards for its innovation and impact on the theatre industry. He is now the owner of creative technology company, Copper Candle and The Head of the Centre for Digital Production at Rose Bruford College.
